Wilfred Emmanuel Jones

October 2018

Wilfred Emmanuel Jones, founder of The Black Farmer brand.

This was the second time that I photographed Wilfred, the first was in my studio were we did a shoot for The Black Farmer ‘Hatchery’. A program that he calls a collaborative incubator for ambitious food entrepreneurs.

But this time was for an interview in The Times promoting his new book called 'Jeopardy', about entlrepanurship, mentoring and taking risks in life.

He had just come back from a hospital appointment for his Acute myeloid leukemia, and despite being drained from the treatment, was excited to collaborate and be photographed.

The First shot has since been exhibited as part of Portrait Salon 2019 and featured in the press and in the touring exhibitions.
